Anna Kutcher, PhD, FNP-C, LAc, PMH-BC

About Anna

Anna is a Richmond native who has close to 30 years of diverse experience in healthcare including acupuncture and advanced practice nursing. Her initial inspiration to study acupuncture was as a patient while studying abroad in China.  She became a nurse practitioner in order to provide comprehensive care to patients in a wide variety of settings.

Her nursing experience includes primary care, palliative care, geriatrics, pain management and behavioral health.  In addition to NP board certification in family medicine, Anna is certified in psychiatric-mental health nursing at the RN level and is working towards her PMHNP specialist designation.  She is also a shamanic reiki master teacher, yoga and meditation instructor.  A lifelong learner, she holds a PhD in nursing from the University of Virginia.  ​Anna is passionate about making healthcare accessible. She believes in the innate healing ability and wisdom that exists within every body.

Anna enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, hiking and gardening.
